A Word To Advisors: We hope you will take a few minutes to review everything posted here and seriously consider becoming a part of this learning experience!

General information and answers to some frequently asked questions:

  1. You may enter as many teams (consisting of 1-5 students) as you would like in the 9-12 division. Each team will demonstrate their solution to a problem and give a presentation including drawings and steps taken to reach their solution.

  2. Architectural entry level teams and jr. high engineering teams do not have to give a presentation. Teams giving the presentation will be a maximum of 5 students... more can work on the solution.

  3. Entry fee per team is $25.00. Each team receives T-shirts and lunch tickets for each presenter. You are encouraged to bring spectators.

  4. Entries are judged by professionals in their respected fields.

  5. Entries are rated good, excellent, or superior. Certificates will be awarded to each team accordingly.

  6. Teams in the advanced divisions for Engineering, Architecture, and 3-D Studio with superior ratings may receive software donated by corporate sponsors. Those prizes are under negotiation at this time..

  7. If you choose not to participate, you are still encouraged to attend with students to see what Tech Challenge is all about. This is a worthwhile learning experience!
