2010 ITEEA Conference
Charlotte, North Carolina
March 18-20, 2010

Sixteen people from Minnesota attend the 72 nd Annual ITEEA conference in Charlotte, NC, March 18 th – 20 th. This years’ theme was “Green Technology: STEM Solutions for 21 st Century Citizens.” Attendees were able to listen to John Warner, president and Chief Technology Officer of Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry, and astronaut Captain Lee M.E. Morin, as keynote speakers at general sessions. Those in attendance also took part in breakout sessions, vendor show and just awesome networking with fellow technology teachers from around the world!

Minnesota was well represented with Oakview Middle School being recognized for Program Excellence and Brad Jans was recognized as a Teacher Excellence winner. Way to go!

The 2011 local planning committee had a booth and handed out promotional items and also had a presentation and video to promote the 2011 conference coming to Minneapolis.
