North Suburban Technology Education Association

  • works with 90 Industrial Technology/Technology Education teachers in nine school districts.
  • provides a meaningful service to technology educators and members of our industrial community.
  • encourages all students to participate in Industrial Technology/Technology Education experiences.
  • holds two association meetings per year and works with other local Technology Education associations to hold one joint annual meeting.
  • sponsors a student technology fair each spring.
  • publicizes the importance of Industrial Technology/Technology Education.
  • networks with the Minnesota Technology Education Association.
  • recognizes teachers for their accomplishments with awards for outstanding teachers, programs, 25 year awards and retirees.

The North Suburban Technology Education Association focuses on what is of value to students; is supportive of teachers in the field; is dedicated to local and state technology organizations; and helps make a difference in the quality of education and the future of our students.
