2011 Comparative Statistics

Dear Students and Advisors:
This is your invitation to participate in the Twenty Fourth Annual Supermileage Challenge on Monday & Tuesday, May 14th & 15th , 2012 sponsored by THE MINNESOTA TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION, Minnesota Corn Growers Association, Magneto Power, Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association, NTI School of CAD Tech, Lube Tech, Inc., and Brainerd International Raceway. The objective of the competition is to provide a challenge of classroom learning experiences together with your ingenuity and teamwork to produce the most fuel efficient vehicle.
To enter the 2012 Supermileage Challenge, you must complete the INTENT TO ENTER form and return it along with the ENTRY FEE by November 30th, 2011 . This form can be downloaded using the above link. This form can be downloaded using the above link. Adobe Reader required 
Also, the Official Rules have some changes and are posted on the web site.
Without exception, the entry fee of $60.00 per vehicle, along with the intent to enter form must be received no later than December 15th, 2011 .

Each entry is required to submit a Vehicle Design Proposal, as required by the rules, in order to participate in the challenge. Vehicle and Engine design proposals must be received by February 28th, 2012 .
Certificates of Insurance, Student waivers and Parent permission form, School letter of participation and Team list must be received by April 15, 2012 . Forms and examples are posted on the website. Make sure your certificate of insurance is sent to Mike Sandell at the address above.
Teams with late proposals or waivers will NOT compete for trophies!!
All items must be received by the due date!

If your team is a class that starts in January, please contact Mike Sandell before November 15 if you are not sure of the number of entries.

Teams with late proposals or waivers will be placed in the exhibition class NOT compete for trophies!
All items must be received by the competition committee no later than April 30, 2012 in order for a team to participate in the Supermileage Challenge!
